Measures being taken to complete projects on time: Sibi commissioner

Says standard quality of ongoing development projects being ensured

QUETTA: Sibi Division Commissioner Mir Suhailur Rehman has said that the government is taking measures to complete the ongoing development schemes on time for providing basic amenities to the masses.

Commissioner Rehman stated this while talking to the media after monitoring ongoing development schemes during his visit to Khajak area.

The commissioner said, “The projects, under the Chief Minister Balochistan Package, are in their final stages, which will benefit the public after completion."

He said, “The standard of ongoing development projects is being ensured to maintain sustainable growth for the betterment of the area.”

The commissioner urged contractors to maintain standard quality of the ongoing projects and complete them on time. “Action will be taken against contractors if they utilise non-standard materials in the ongoing development projects,” he added.

Earlier, he inspected several ongoing development schemes in Khajak area of Sibi district during his visit.

The Sibi commissioner was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Zakir Nasir, Divisional Director Waqar-ul-Zaman Kiyani and other officials.
