
He said the PML-N government was sincere in alleviating poverty and bringing change in the life of people as it allocated Rs125 billion under Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) besides other relief measures.
Joya hailed allocation of amounts for water, energy and road projects and said that it would not only create new job opportunities but also stimulate economic wheel. He appreciated incentives announced for the retired and serving government employees in the budget.
He added that tax-exemptions given to salaried class and corporate sector were exemplary.
He said about 50% of our population was associated with agriculture sector. He said the government allocated two percent sales tax on fertilisers and also earmarked Rs800 billion to provide loans to farmers.
