Zahoor Muhammad was reportedly living in Hyderabad since 11 years.

HYDERABAD:

Police have arrested an Indian citizen who has reportedly been living in Hyderabad since 11 years as a Pakistani citizen.

Zahoor Muhammad, son of Fateh Muhammad, was arrested by local police and officials of spy agencies. Copies of his Indian passport and a Pakistani computerised national identity card (CNIC) were recovered, which both identify him as Zahoor Muhammad.

The address mentioned on his Indian passport is from Jaipur, India, while his Pakistani CNIC was issued in Hyderabad. Various pieces of paper have been recovered from his possession, bearing telephone numbers, some of them noted down in Hindi.

According to police sources, Zahoor first came to Pakistan in 1988. He got married here and went back to India. He then came to Pakistan again in December 2000 but went missing for a while.

Police sources said Muhammad denied his involvement with any Indian intelligence agency.
