Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said on Wednesday that his party would introduce a system where poor could have the opportunity to move to the upper echelon of society.
“The country cannot flourish until farmers are helped out and provided means to grow more corps,” he said while addressing a rally to welcome former Pakistan Peoples Party leader Nadeem Afzal Chan to his party.
Khan said the state had thus far made rich-friendly policies, but his party would cater to the interests of the poor on coming to power.

"Being silent in front of the oppressors is a sin,” he said and added, “If we come to power children of farmers will get quality education."
He said that Chan's joining his party would be better for the people of Mandi Bahauddin, and hailed the leader for his political background.
He lamented that sugarcane farmers were not getting a proper price from mill owners, promising his maximum effort to get a better rate for the farmers.
The PTI chief said that the PPP had moved far away from the Bhutto's ideals.
"I am loyal till I stand for the party's manifesto but if I start making palaces on the money of the poor there is no need for the people to call me their leader," he said, adding that the poor in country did not get basic facilities like hospital and education.
Speaking on the occasion, Chan said he left the PPP for the sake of people.
"We are with Imran in his Jihad against Nawaz," he said. “None other than Imran can send Nawaz to jail, and that is why I support him unconditionally," he said.
Chan said he remained committed to Bhuttoism but “if the PPP's ideology is now Sharjeel Memon [a PPP leader facing corruption charges], I am better without it”.
