NAB hears public complaints today

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan will hold khuli kachehri, or open court, today (Thursday) to hear public complaints against corrupt practices, says an official spokesman.
Director General NAB Balochistan Mirza Muhammad Irfan Baig will hold the court at the NAB’s regional office from 11am to 1pm.
Through a notification, the NAB official asked people to bring their applications along with evidence against those demanding bribes to cater to public issues.
NAB leaving no stone unturned
In line with the directives of NAB Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal, the anti-corruption department has decided to hear public reservations on corruption, pledging action against corrupt elements under the NAB Act, 1999.
The DG NAB Balochistan held out assurance that the grievances of those defrauded by any government department or individual, or any official making undue use of his powers, will be addressed in accordance with the anti-corruption act.
The official pledged impartial action on public complaints and submission of references in accountability courts.
