Athletics: Gebrselassie wins in Manchester

My big challenge right now is trying to be better than the youngsters: Gebrselassie.

MANCHESTER:
Haile Gebrselassie won his fourth Great Manchester 10-kilometre run, while Britain’s Helen Clitheroe set a personal best, winning in the women’s race.


Clitheroe won in 31 minutes 45 seconds, ahead of Christelle Daunay and Grace Momanyi. Ethiopia’s Gebrselassie, 38, who beat Britain’s Chris Thompson said, “My big challenge right now is trying to be better than the youngsters.”
