Teaser of 'Sanju' shows the many faces of Sanjay Dutt

KARACHI: The teaser for Sanjay Dutt's biopic Sanju, starring Ranbir Kapoor, was released today and it definitely goes way beyond our expectations. What was anticipated to be a serious film actually seems to be more of a comedy.

The teaser truly does the film's catchline of  'One Man, Many Lives,' justice as it shows the various stages of Sanjay's life which Ranbir seems to have depicted perfectly.

Before we move forward, we must mention what a great job the film's costume and makeup team have done. Ranbir is truly unrecognisable in most parts, resembling Sanjay.

The teaser starts with current day Sanju walking out of a jail, explaining how his life has seen many ups and downs, in true comedic fashion.

From drugs to bodybuilding, private planes to begging on the streets, the most luxurious of hotels to the gloomy prison cells - the teaser portrays all the different stages of Sanjay's life as narrated by he himself.

Towards the end, the teaser portrays glimpses of the assorted happenings that occurred in the star's lifetime - guns, glamour, prison and much more.

Sanju is slated for release on June 29, 2018.
