Speaking to a leading publication about her birthday plans, the Highway actor said, “Our shoot has been very hectic, so the cast and crew have been shooting non-stop. But Ayan is excited about my birthday and I think he has planning a little dinner.”

Earlier, Alia called it quits with Sidharth Malhotra and was reportedly dating her Brahmastra co-star, Ranbir Kapoor. However, the 25-year-old cleared the rumours. She stated, “I strongly believe that ‘silence is golden.’ Even actors have their own personal lives – it’s called ‘personal’ for a reason. I have one too.”

The Udta Punjab actor also mentioned that she doesn’t pay much attention to what people have to say about her. “People can say whatever they want as I don’t get bothered by such ‘stories’. I just hope people don’t think that this is all that I’m doing in my life.”

The duo - Alia and Ranbir have mulitple projects lined up for themselves. Apart from Brahmastra, Ranbir recently wrapped up shooting for Sanju which is based on the real life of actor Sanjay Dutt while Alia is working on Raazi. She shared images from the film on her birthday.
