The Jafria Students Organisation held a rally to protest against Israel and in favour of Palestine.
Participants carried banners and placards and eventually made their way to the press club, where they staged a sit-in and burnt American and Israeli flags. The students demanded that the United Nations take concrete steps to return land to Palestinians.
