LAHORE:

DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf said the services of the officers who have spent long years of their life in maintaining traffic flow was an uphill task.
“They have contributed a lot in maintaining law and order and saving the lives and property of the citizens,” he said. “CTPL is an indispensable part of Lahore Police due to its commitment to maintaining the flow of traffic on roads.”
CTO Ria Ijaz said he saluted the officers whose purpose of life was to facilitate the citizens. “My office is open for the retiring police officials if they face any problem,” he said. He ordered his staff to remain in contact with the retiring officials and help them whenever needed.
Commendatory certificates, shields and flowers were presented to the retiring officers and were given protocol to their way back homes. This is for the first time in the history of CTPL that the retiring officers and officials were being dropped home with the protocol.
