A man tortured his father to death over a family dispute in Kahna on Thursday.
A police official told Express News that the accused Hanif had tortured his father Salamat Ali to death over a family dispute that has been going on for some time. He added that police have shifted the body to a local hospital for legal formalities. Police claimed to have arrested the accused while further investigation was underway.
In another incident, Ghulam Hussain, a resident of Rampura Town, shot and killed his 17-year-old sister in the name of honour. After committing the crime, the accused fled the scene. The police shifted the body to a hospital and started investigations.
Meanwhile, seven-year-old Ayesha was critically injured after being caught in a fodder-cutting machine in Manga Mandi. Police said Ayesha was playing in her rural mansion when she got trapped in the fodder cutting machine and sustained serious injuries on her neck.
