Police officials broke into a house and tortured three women on Saturday. One of the victims was admitted to the local hospital after her arm was broken by a police official. According to Busti Zahoorabad residents, several police officials broke into Shamim Mai’s house and misbehaved with the women of the house while trying to discover the whereabouts of a proclaimed offender. The affected women said their long time rival Muhammad Nawaz had filed a fake land grabbing case against them in the Saddar Police station. The city police station took illegal action and broke into the house and abused four female residents. The women said that the police were not registering a case against the officials involved even after doctors had confirmed that the women had been beaten.
