Police present report on top court judge residence attack
Justice Ijazul Ahsan was part of Panama Papers bench

Police on Monday presented an initial report on yesterday's attack on Justice Ijazul Ahsan’s Model Town residence to Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar, Express News reported.
Unidentified assailants fired gunshots at the Supreme Court judge’s house in two separate incidents. According to the document, police were alerted about the incident around 10:45am following the registration of a complaint by Naik Abdul Razzaq of the Pakistan Ramgers.
SC judge’s home attacked twice in a day
A bullet hit the gate of the house, the report reads. A forensic team later collected all evidence. The team will furnish a report later on Monday. Initial reports suggested a bullet had been fired from a distance. A search has been conducted in the vicinity.
Will continue taking suo motu notices: CJP
CJP Nisar rushed to Justice Ahsan’s home and personally monitored developments after learning about the attack. An FIR of the incident has been registered.
