Students of different educational institutions in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi are facing an acute shortage of hostels at reasonable prices.
The hostels, which were once easily available in different localities of the city, are now charging a hefty amount of rent from students.
Students also have to face a host of issues such as a lack of security, quality meals, and pure drinking water apart from overcrowding.
Students who come to the capital from up country for studies, have to live in expensive private hostels due to lack of accommodation.
