Senate chairperson meets Imran Khan at Bani Gala
Sanjrani thanks PTI for supporting his bid for Senate chair, both leaders affirm support for parliamentary reforms

Senate Chairperson Sadiq Sanjrani on Friday met Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairperson Imran Khan to formally thank the latter for supporting his bid for Senate chair, according to reports.
The meeting took place at the PTI chief's Bani Gala residence outside Islamabad. The two leaders also discussed reform agendas for the Upper House during the meeting.
Tax amnesty laws laid before Senate
During the meeting, Imran remarked that his party would fully support Sanjrani's reforms, and termed the successful passage of the FATA bill through the parliament a step in the right direction.
"FATA should be incorporated in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa as a permanent solution," Khan was quoted as saying.
Senior PTI leaders including Asad Umar, Fawad Chaudhry and Faisal Javed were also present during the meeting, a press release issued by PTI stated.
