Rangers arrest 10 suspects across city

The Rangers claimed to have recovered arms, ammunition, contraband and drugs from the suspects' possession

The Rangers claimed on Thursday to have arrested 10 criminals, including four members of a Lyari-based gang, in different areas of the metropolis.

According to a statement issued by the Rangers, the paramilitary force carried out targeted raids in the Kalri, Kalakot and Garden areas and nabbed four alleged gangsters affiliated with the Baba Ladla gang based in Lyari.

They were allegedly involved in targeted killings, extortion, grenade attacks on law enforcement agencies and other crimes.

Separately, a Rangers party arrested a worker of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement - Haqiqi, Waseem alias Kala, in Shah Faisal Colony.

The paramilitary force also conducted search operations in Awami Colony and detained three alleged drug peddlers and two alleged robbers.

The Rangers claimed to have recovered arms, ammunition, contraband and drugs from the suspects' possession.

The arrested criminals were handed over to the police for initiation of legal proceedings, read the statement.
