VEHARI:
A man was allegedly tortured and stabbed to death in Vehari, Express News reported on Thursday.
Unidentified criminals barged into Laeeq Ahmed’s house in EB-173 and tortured him. Later, they stabbed him to death and burnt the body.
The victim’s neighbours saw smoke emitting from Laeeq’s house and entered the premises where they found the burnt body.
Soon after the incident, DSP Malik Tahir Majeed reached the spot with a police contingent and sent the body for legal formalities.
