KARACHI: The Sindh government has approved plans to set up a museum at Hala during the next fiscal year.

A summary prepared by Makhdoom Jameel Khan, provincial minister for inter-provincial coordination and antiquities, was approved by the chief minister to enhance and preserve the literature, art, culture and heritage of the province.

The summary highlighted the importance of Hala in the fields of pottery, weaving, needle work, Sindhi caps and scarves as well as its location close to several shrines, mazaars and historical towns.
