PCB hunts cricket talent in North Waziristan Agency
Mushtaq Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Yasir Shah attend inauguration ceremony in Miranshah
KARACHI:
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), with the support of Pakistan Army, successfully inaugurated Cricket Talent Hunt programme in North Waziristan Agency on Saturday.
Head coach of National Cricket Academy Mushtaq Ahmed, former Test cricketer Shadab Ahmed, leg-spinner Yasir Shah and GMNCA’s Ali Raza attended the inauguration ceremony.
All the cricket stars and representatives received a warm welcome in Miranshah after which they were escorted to Younus Khan Complex where the talent hunt programme for cricket and football was organised.
Huge numbers of Miranshah youth were present there to participate in the event.
Ministers and political leaders from Miranshah were also present at the event and expressed contentment over the inauguration of games.
They said that peace has been restored in the area for which they are thankful to the Pakistan Army.
Meanwhile, area counsellors said that they’re thankful to Pak Army on establishment of parks, schools, colleges, technical institutes and markets.
