Sanaullah holds out assurance to Tehreek-e-Labbaik

Says matters of Tehreek-e-Labbaik are related to the federal government

LAHORE: A representative delegation of Tehreek-e-Labbaik led by its Chief Pir Muhammad Afzal Qadri called on Punjab Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Rana Sanaullah Khan at 7-Club, on Thursday.

The delegation included central and provincial leadership of the organisation Muhammad Waheed Noor, Sheikh Azhar Hussain Rizwi, Muhammad Ghulam Ghaus Baghdadi and Eng. Afeez Ullah Alvi.

From government side Interior Minister for State Talal Chaudhry, Chief Commissioner of Islamabad Aftab Ahmed Durani, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Punjab Azam Suleman, Punjab IG, CCPO and commissioner Lahore were present on this occasion.

Rana Sanaullah said matters of Tehreek-e-Labbaik are related to the federal government adding that our senior colleagues are in contact with the responsible persons of federal government for the solution of their issues.

He added soon there would be a breakthrough and the matters would be solved through negotiations with the participants of sit-in of Tehreek-e-Labbaik.

The law minister directed Punjab IG and Lahore Commissioner to maintain personal liaison with the participants of the sit-in. On the occasion, representatives of the delegation said that they will prefer to solve their matters through negotiations with the government.
