KARACHI:
Pakistan has decided to initiate a coordinated diplomatic campaign against the recent Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir, Roznama Express has learnt.

In addition to communicating with all the international forums including the United Nations (UN) diplomatic delegates will be sent to different countries to advocate Pakistan's case.

Pakistan, the insiders said, will contact the US, Britain, France, Russia, China and all the important countries to ensure their support for the cause.

The world community will be asked to play its role in resolving the Kashmir issue as per the UN resolutions.

During the campaign, Pakistan will try to get a 'condemnation resolution' passed from the UN Security Council against Indian prime minister Narendra Modi's government. In this regard, the country will take China and Russia into confidence.

Furthermore, insiders said, ambassadors of all the countries and high commissioners deputed in Pakistan will be approached to organise a conference to highlight the plight of Kashmiris.

It has also been discussed in a high level consultation that Pakistan will not initiate dialogue with India. Any talks with the Modi government will only be held if it assures the agenda will include all disputed issues, including Kashmir.

In a recent diplomatic contact, a clear message has been given to India that a befitting response will be given that if the Modi government does not end violations on the Line of Control (LoC) and Working Boundary.

Sources said the Modi government could face international pressure on the situation in Kashmir due to effective diplomacy of Pakistan.
