Hamza Shehbaz calls for unity amongst state institutions

Terms it vital for a safe, progressive Pakistan

LAHORE: With his uncle former prime minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and cousin Maryam Nawaz continuing their diatribe against state institutions, MNA Hamza Shehbaz advancing the narrative of his father Chief Minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif, has called for unity amongst state institutions.

He said that no enemy was needed if we were not united. All institutions of the country should work together for the country, he added.

Hamza Shehbaz expressed these views while addressing a laptop distribution ceremony in Sargodha University. He said that five ago Pakistan had plunged into the darkness of load shedding and terrorism while national exchequer was empty however the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government initiated and completed power projects amid such conditions.

“Parliament, Senate, Judiciary, Army, and all institutions would have to work together for a safe, secure, and progressive Pakistan”, said Hamza adding that national cooperation is integral to strengthening democracy.

Meanwhile, he said that the long-prevailing political philosophy has changed and people would not remember names of the leaders but their efforts for the country. The PML-N leader also stated that any country running its affairs on aide should not expect to be treated with respect and dignity.

Hamza further said that better and modern educational facilities are not the privilege of rich people only and it is the vision of Punjab chief minister to extend such lucrative gadgets to everyone in the society. He said that Danish schools and Endowment Fund were established to transfer facilities from the haves to have-nots.

State Minister Mosin Shahnawaz Ranjha, lawmakers of Sargodha district, and other PML-N office bearers were present also on this occasion.
