Chinese officials : Delegation expresses interest in Pakistan’s ceramic industry
Wang agreed to relocate ceramic industries from Zibo in a bid to share the global demand of ceramics products

A Chinese delegation has expressed its interest in pursuing joint ventures with Pakistani counterparts in the ceramics industry.
The delegation is on a visit to Pakistan at the invitation of the Pak-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI). The team, led by Zibo Chamber of Commerce and Industry Exhibition Committee Head Wang Chenzhong, met local industrialists.
Speaking on the occasion, Wang said that Zibo, being a key transportation hub of China, is playing an important role in the country’s rapidly growing manufacturing industries, especially in the ceramics sector. He was impressed by the growth potential available in Pakistan’s ceramics industry.
Wang agreed to relocate ceramic industries from Zibo in a bid to share the global demand of ceramics products by exploiting inherent advantages available in the country. He added that 70% work on China’s ceramics is done under the expertise of Zibo industries and products are being exported to the US, EU and other markets.
Also speaking on the occasion, PCJCCI Chief S M Naveed welcomed the delegation and assured of the chamber’s support for economic development of the two countries.
