A woman was killed allegedly by her relatives on Thursday because she and her husband had arranged their daughter’s marriage without their consent.
Saddar police said Chak Lakhhiana resident Ghulam Muhammad and his wife had arranged their daughter’s engagement without consulting their relatives. On Thursday, they said, Zafar,Zulfiqar, Faiz, Nasir and an unidentified man broke into their house and attacked Muhammad’s wife with an axe, killing her on the spot.
