Some depict the real life bonds we can all relate to while others explore the complications between friends. Either way, they haven’t failed to enthuse.

1) 'Sholay'

The critically acclaimed Sholay is one film that did a great job at portraying the true bond of friendship between Jai (Amitabh Bachchan) and Veeru (Dharmendra).

2) 'Rang De Basanti'

4) 'Dil Chahta Hai'

Starring Aamir Khan, Akshay Khanna and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles, the film is a classic ‘road trip with friends’ story that deals with many aspects within friendships. There’s fun, there’s laughter and (naturally) a lot of drama.

5) 'Wake Up Sid'

This film shows Sid’s (Ranbir Kapoor) transition from his university to professional life. It also portrays the strong bond him and his friend Aisha (Konkona Sen Sharma) share and how they influence each other. It truly shows how a person’s personality can evolve because of the impact friends’ have in their lives.

You must have been living under a rock if you haven’t seen this film yet. Probably one of the most inspiring films out there, it truly represents the proverb ‘A friend in need is a friend indeed’ and teaches us to have faith in our friends.
