Pashtun rights: ANP think tank summons APC
ANP has decided to convene APC for permanent solution of all existing problems

Awami National Party (ANP) has announced to resist any change in 18th Amendment and to summon an All Parties’ Conference (APC) on Pashtun rights. This was announced in a press release issued after its think tank meeting in Wali Bagh Charsadda.
Awami National Party (ANP) has decided to convene all parties conference (APC) for permanent solution of all existing problems of modern days being faced by people especially Pashtuns and vowed to continue constitutional, legal, parliamentary and democratic struggle for its complete resolution. This was decided during ANP’s think tank meeting chaired by Central President ANP Asfandyar Wali Khan and was attended by members of all Consultative Committee at Wali Bagh Charsadda, saysan ANP press release.
Speaking on the occasion, the ANP Chief said final decision about the date of convening APC would be announced later. While regretting delay of Fata merger into K-P, he said unnecessary delay in this regard would create complications and demanded its merger before upcoming general elections and giving representation to Fata in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly. He also suggested amendment in the Constitution for allocation of Fata’s share in the Provincial Cabinet.
