Energy, Industrial Sectors: Cooperation with Austria stressed

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Power and Adviser on Oil and Gas Shazia Marri has emphasised on close cooperation between energy and industrial sectors of Austria and Pakistan. She said this on Thursday while talking to an Austrian delegation at the chamber of the speaker of Sindh Assembly, which was led by Ambassador of Austria Axel Welch. Marri briefed the Austrian delegation about the opportunities for investment in the energy and tourism sectors of Pakistan. Marri also recognised that Europe has a lot to offer in terms of expertise when it comes to power generations, particularly hydroelectric power and agreed that collaboration between Austria and Pakistan would prove to be beneficial.
