Pakistani-American entrepreneur launches app for, mobile device
A Pakistani-origin American entrepreneur has introduced a mobile application to remove duplicate and repeated media and files from cell phones.
Sohail Khan said, the application, nomorpt (no more repeat), works for all sorts of files and apps such as Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram. It helps recover gigabytes of space instantly to optimise performance of the mobile devices resulting in fast and better performance. The application has a user friendly inteface and is easy to use.
He said the app, likely to be launched this year has been tested on Google and Apple stores.
iOS 11 makes it easier to free up space on your iPhone
He said that his company used expertise from Pakistan in developing the app nomorpt. “A growing number of Pakistani IT firms are finding opportunities to link up with business partners in the United States,” said Sohail, who grew up in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal locality of Karachi and left for the US in late 1980s.
It is natural for people to prefer sourcing their business solutions to experts from the country of their origin, owing to shared values, culture and religion, said Sohail. He said that nomorpt has been developed by Future Concepts LLC, USA, which also has a subsidiary in Pakistan.
Regarding the presence of similar applications which are free on Google and Apple stores, Sohail said, “we can claim it to be one of the fastest duplicate-file removers. For two dollars, it will keep your phone memory free from overloading.”
