High achievers; UoP holds 22nd JCW convocation

PESHAWAR:
University of Peshawar (UoP) Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Asif Khan conferred 359 degrees and 12 gold medals to students of Jinnah College for Women (JCW) on the occasion of 22nd convocation held at UoP Convocation Hall on Saturday

He congratulated the parents for educating their girls and encouraged students to take particular interest in their further studies.

360 degrees awarded at AKU’s 30th convocation


The gold medalist students included Fatima Rehmani, Sumbal Naz,Sara, Sidratul Muntiha, Wajeeha Riaz,Farhana, Hira Farooq, Faiza Arif, Hania Shah,Tahira Parveen and Zulaikha Rafiq.

JCW Principal Dr Shazia Babar shared the annual report of the college.

Talking to The Express Tribune a gold medalist Fazia Arif said: “Indeed, JCW is one the best college for girls in the province.” She encouraged the girls to take part in extracurricular activities which, “make us physically and mentally strong.” She thanked parents and teachers for support and said that hard work is the only key of getting success.
