Student's body was recovered from a drain in Dijkot

Murderers of a Government College University Faisalabad student remain at large as the police still struggle to arrest the culprits.

Three days ago in Faisalabad, a Government College University student A* was kidnapped by unidentified people in broad daylight and was killed after being subjected to sexual abuse, Express News reported.

The student’s body was discovered from a drain in Dijkot while the post-mortem report confirmed the deceased was sexually abused.

Faislabad police is still unable to get hold of the culprits and the murderers are still at large. Police arrested one youth but released him after detailed investigation.

According to police sources, no solid traces of the incident have been found yet. "We have received the girl’s mobile data, and we hope this will assist in catching the culprits," a police official said.
