CJCSC General Hayat calls on Egyptian President

In 2016, erstwhile army chief general (retd) Raheel Sharif had met Sisi in Cairo.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Zubair Mahmood Hayat on Thursday called on re-elected Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi at the presidential palace in Cairo.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters of bilateral interest including the prevalent regional security situation were discussed on the occasion. Hayat also met General Sedky Sobhy, the minister of defence and commander-in-chief of  the Egyptian armed forces.

In 2016, erstwhile army chief general (retd) Raheel Sharif had met Sisi in Cairo. The Egyptian President had praised Pakistan Army's valour and appreciated the nation's sacrifices in the war against terrorism.
