Independent inquiry of OBL raid (II)
We are unable to keep track of deadly terrorists such as Osama bin Laden.
JUBAIL, SAUDI ARABIA:
Despite maintaining one of the world’s largest armies, we are unable to keep track of deadly terrorists such as Osama bin Laden. Also, even if a low-level militant or terrorist is arrested, more often than not he ends up being released for ‘lack of evidence’. We have banned various militant groups and sectarian outfits but do nothing when they reappear and operate under different names. Another example of this tolerance for hate speech was how the government did nothing to stop rallies that praised Governor Salmaan Taseer’s killer and demanded his immediate release.
With all this in context, we shouldn’t really complain if, because of our inability to contain the terrorists and militants in our midst, someone from outside comes in and does the job for us.
