Woman allegedly involved in killing her own children

LAHORE: A judicial magistrate handed over a woman to police on four days physical remand for further investigation. The woman was allegedly involved in killing her own children. The Hayer police produced accused Aneeqa Bibi before the court where investigation officer sought remand of the accused for further investigation. The IO told the court that the accused had confessed that she along with her lover Hasnain had murdered the children. However, the judge accepted the plea and ordered her physical remand. While speaking to The Express Tribune, IO Tariq Zafar said accused Hasnain had joined the investigation and denied his involvement in the killing. Earlier, bodies of three children were recovered from a house in Heer area of the city. The victims included 10-year-old Zain, Kaneez Fatima, 6, and four-year-old Ibrahim. Investigating officials allege that the mother is mentally disturbed and could have been the murderer.
