Inter-Provincial Games: Cash for medal winners
The games had been clinched by Punjab by winning 139 medals

Athletes from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), who won medals at the recently-concluded fourth Inter-Provincial Games, would be awarded cash prizes of around Rs3.5 million. This was announced by K-P Sports Director General Junaid Khan as he distributed shields amongst athletes at the Lala Rafique Sports Arena on Sunday. The event had been organized by the K-P Olympic Association. In team games, each gold medalist would be awarded Rs10,000, Rs7,000 for the silver medalists and Rs5,000 for bronze medalists. He said all the cash incentives would be given to the medalists within a week. The games had been clinched by Punjab by winning 139 medals. K-P was second with 122 medals.
