According to police officials, local residents in the district informed the police after they discovered a body abandoned in the fields. Police officials have confiscated the body and sent it to Nishtar Hospital for an autopsy.
“So far we have not been able to identify the body and no one has come to claim it. We are conducting a thorough investigation,” said the Civil Lines SHO. Police officials said that they were waiting on the autopsy results before pursuing the matter further.
