From Tokyo to Turkey, and Belgium to Netherlands, Pakistan's flag soars high
To commemorate the 78th Pakistan Day, embassies over the world celebrated the day in style.
From Turkey to Netherlands, Pakistanis abroad gained a chance to spectate the official flag hoisting tradition to honour the day.
Pakistan Day celebrations commence with military parade in Islamabad
In Beijing, Pakistan's Ambassador to China, Masood Khalid hoisted the flag, the national anthem was played, and students were dressed in local dresses playing national songs.
The embassy in Netherlands had a flag hoisting ceremony as well with officials clad in the classic shalwar-kameez. There was also a prayer held for the betterment of the country, and the 20-minute video shows the entire ceremony.
In Indonesia, Pakistanis celebrated the day in Jakarta, where Ambassador Aqil Nadeem read out the President's message and addressed the gathering as well.
A similar ceremony was held in Tokyo to commemorate the day as well.

The embassy in Brussels sent out a notification in Urdu requesting the pleasure of all Pakistanis to partake in the celebrations.
In Turkey, the celebrations were booming as children were dressed in traditional dresses, a large cake with Pakistan's flag was cut in the embassy. Children were seen wearing the green and white of the flag and sang national songs.
