Anti-dumping: Court removes duty on chemical
Court allows the refund of duty deducted on the import of raw material.
KARACHI:
The Sindh High Court has cancelled the temporary anti-dumping duty imposed by the National Tariff Commission (NTC) on hydrogen peroxide and allowed the refund of duty deducted on the import of this raw material.
In the judgment, Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Shahid Anwer Bajwa said that the petitioner, Pakistan Chemicals and Dyes Merchants Association (PCDMA), was entitled to claim the refund of amount paid as anti-dumping duty in accordance with the law.
