Somali pirates: $2.1m ransom collected
Burney told sailors that the $2.1m ransom was collected and will be transferred in the requisite bank account soon.

Social worker Ansar Burney, the owner of the ship that was taken into custody by the Somalian pirates and Ahmed Chennai met in Dubai to discuss the expected negotiations with the pirates.
Burney told Express News that he had spoken to the sailors and told them that the $2.1 million ransom has been collected and will be transferred in the requisite bank account soon.
After the money has been transferred, all satellite communications would be restored, he assured.
