Tennis: Mazhar to face Farooq in U-14 final
Marib Mazhar defeated Nazif Ahmed mixed under-14 championship on Wednesday.
The mixed under-14 Quice Satellite Ciruit Grade 1 Championship being held at BeachView Club progressed to its final stages as Marib Mazhar defeated Nazif Ahmed 6-7, 7-5, 7-5 yesterday (Wednesday).
Mazhar came back strong after losing the first set in what concluded to be a nail-biting match. The final will be held today between Mazhar and Hassan Farooq, who reached the final after beating Maheen Dada in straight sets 6-4, 6-2.
