Tehreek-e-Hurriyat chief accuses Indian agencies of handling Da'ish

Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Chairman Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, during an interview in Srinagar on Thursday, stated that he suspects Indian agencies behind the design of terrorist organisation 'Da’ish' in order to malign the Kashmir movement, Radio Pakistan reported.
“Da’ish could be the handiwork of Indian agencies, which were keen to defame the Kashmir movement and undermine its indigenous character.”

Sehrai further went on to say the people of Kashmir have no international agenda and they only want to secure freedom from Indian occupation.
“Our agenda is simple and we only want Kashmir to be free from Indian occupation.”
He clarified that the pro-freedom camp had nothing to do with terrorist organisations like Da’ish and their ideology.
Last week Syed Ali Geelani accused India of using its National Investigation Agency (NIA) to harass Kashmiri resistance leaders.
“Such tactics cannot cow down the pro-freedom leadership,” the former chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat said.
He strongly condemned the interrogation of Syed Salahuddin’s four sons and son-in-law by the NIA.
“Syed Salahuddin is a forerunner and a prominent figure in the ongoing freedom movement and has dedicated his whole life for the sacred cause and such cowardly measures cannot weaken his commitment to the liberation struggle,” Geelani declared.

The Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq stated,” India’s brutal tactics would not succeed to suppress the Kashmiris’ genuine struggle for securing their right to self-determination.”
On the other hand, clashes erupted in Srinagar after Indian troops used force on a series of protests against a siege by the Indian forces
