Hindu community to mark birth anniversary of Sita Mata
Rally to be held tomorrow at 6pm
The Hindu community will organise a grand rally on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sita Mata tomorrow (Thursday) with great religious zeal and fervour.
This was announced in a statement issued by the Maraj Hira Lal of Sita Mandir, Gardem, Sunder of Ram Dave Mandir of Soldier Bazaar and Lata Bai of Mari Mata Mandir of Doli Khtata in Karachi.
In a joint statement, they appealed to the provincial government, city administration, home secretary, Karachi mayor, commissioner, South DC, K-Electric and inspector-general of police to make special security arrangements for the rally and pooja so that the religious occasion could be held peacefully and without any fear. The rally usually attracts a large number of participants.

They said that the rally will start at 6pm from Ram Dave Pir Mandir in Soldier Bazaar. After a 30-minute stay at Mari Mata Mandir, the rally's participants will move to Sita Mata Mandir, Zoological Garden's gate number 5. The pooja will be performed by Maraj Hira Laal.
On the occasion, special prayers will be offered for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan and for the independance of Kashmir.
