Ali | 6 years ago | Reply According to the 10th Revision of the International Classification of Diseases and Health Problems (ICD 10) published by WHO, Drug Addiction is described as a complex disease, which includes “disorders due to substance use” under the category “Mental and behavioural disorders”. Referring to a health condition beyond the control of an individual as a crime, and equating it with "child abuse" has serious implications for how society rehabilitates these persons in need of social support. Perhaps, ASI Malik Liaquat Ali, and the police need to be educated and sensitized, before they start sensitizing others on subjects that do not fall within their expertise.
