Alain Robert, also known as the ‘French Spiderman’, has climbed a 610ft tall building using just climbing shoes and chalk at the age of 55.
Robert used his gravity-defying climbing skills and was filmed on Wednesday when climbing a building in Paris.

The daredevil climber reached the summit of the 610ft Tour Total building, the fourth tallest in the Pairs business district in his latest adventure.

Robert has climbed over 150 skyscrapers across the world. He has been doing this since he was 11-year-old, climbing for more than 40 years.
This time, it only took the expert around an hour to climb the Tour Total.
He gripped to the window ledges to push himself upwards to the tower’s 48 floors, cheered on by officer, workers-turned-audiences in La Defense.

There are times where he climbs without permission leading to several amounts of arrests.
The ‘French Spiderman’ mounted the New York Times building to develop a banner on global warming but was arrested by the police.

Even at the age of 55, Robert sees no end in sight for his dizzying adventures.

"For me, climbing is a passion, it's a way of life."
