Trailer of 'Nanu Aur Main' will make you want to visit your grandparents
Get ready to shed some tears
Pakistani films have been making their mark globally for a few years now. Even the TV dramas are getting a lot of appreciation worldwide. However, short films barely make it to the top and garner commercial success.
One such short film, titled Nanu Aur Main might be able to break this wall and set the tone for more production of the same - provided the quality is not compromised.
Family Films just released the trailer of Nanu Aur Main, starring Saboor Aly and veteran actor Qavi Khan. As the name suggests, the story revolves around the relationship of a grandfather with his granddaughter.
The trailer shows Khan as the grandfather who is completely supportive of his granddaughter's dreams and wants her to move abroad to study. He calls her his chirya (bird) and wants her to fly.
This troubles the granddaughter played by Aly, as it wouldn't be possible for the two to communicate easily because Khan is not tech savvy. He then teaches her how to write letters so that they can still stay in touch.
After communicating with each other through letters, Aly soon notices a change in Khan's handwriting. This prompts her to rush back to him.
The cinematography evident from the trailer shows that this short film will be a visual treat to the viewers. The background score used throughout is also sure to give some goosebumps.
