PTI workers throw eggs, tomatoes at Ayesha Gulalai
PTI MNA vows to end dynastic politics
BAHAWALPUR:
Workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) attacked MNA Ayesha Gulalai with eggs and tomatoes on Friday evening as she arrived at a hotel in Bhawalpur for a press conference.
The workers further chanted "Go Gulalai Go", on which she said they have gone 'astray' and that they don't know what they are doing. "These are my brothers and sisters put on a wrong path, and in politics, one should not lose their composure," she said.
Disgruntled lawmaker to make 'PTI Gulalai'
Gulalai vowed to put an end to the culture of dynasty politics. "Bahawalpur province should be restored on the administrative basis respecting public consensus," she said.
She said that like Europe, public decisions should be respected through a referendum in Pakistan, if Bahawalpur’s people want their province restored then it should be restored.
"Decisions like these will strengthen the federation," she said, adding that all three parties are one internally and people are seeing corrupt politicians jump ships.
