Development government's top priority: LG minister

Badeni says steps being taken for eradication of poverty from the province

Provincial Minister for Local Government and Rural Development Ghulam Dastagir Badeni has said that Balochistan's development and welfare of its people is top priority of the government.

“The government is fully aware of all problems being faced by the people residing in far-flung areas of Balochistan. All available resources are the trust of the public and will be utilised for their welfare only,” the LG minister said while talking to the media at his office on Thursday.

He said that the provincial government was taking potential steps for resolution of public issues and eradication of poverty from the province, adding that the law enforcement agencies were working day and night for restoration of peace and security in the whole province.

He said that on special directives of Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, provincial ministers and MPAs were taking concrete measures for provision of basic life facilities, including education, health care and clean drinking water, to the people of Balochistan.

He said that the Balochistan chief minister had emphasised on early completion of all ongoing development projects.
