He stated this while reviewing progress of polio teams during a meeting with them on Monday.

Lashari said 126,750 kids up to the age of five years would be administered polio drops under the current drive that would end on March 18. Twenty-seven transit points had also been established for the campaign.

For security of the anti-polio campaign, 208 police officers, 363 Levies personnel and 40 Frontier Corps personnel had been assigned.

He said, “Polio virus is a national issue and conducting campaigns repeated will ensure that not a single child is left out.”
