Man rescued from electric transmission tower in Islamabad
He was protesting against against his father's murder

An young man, who climbed up an electric transmission tower near seventh avenue in Islamabad, has been rescued.
Hailing from Bahawalpur, Hafiz Rizwan Younus had climbed up the tower early Friday morning and refused to come down.
“I am not getting justice,” he told rescue team, referring to his father’s murder in 2006.
According to Younus, his father’s killer had been held accountable by the Lahore High Court. However, the accused had filed an appeal in the Supreme Court against the LHC verdict.
Emergency response: Aged Rescue 15 system goes haywire
Disappointed by the hearing in SC, Younus climbed up the pole in protest.
Initially, he did not engaged in dialogue with police officials, Rescue 1122 team and Islamabad Electric Supply Corporation (IESCO) representatives, who had reached the site to negotiate.
The transmission wires, carrying 1100 watt electricity, were disconnected to ensure his safety.
