One dead, six injured in bus accident near Sahiwal
Bus overturned after its tires bursted
At least one person was killed and six were injured on Thursday when a bus overturned in Sahiwal.
According to Express News, a bus carrying students of a private college was travelling from village 118 near 9-L at Arifwala Road when its tires burst causing the accident. One student died on the spot while six others sustained injuries.
Police officials and Rescue 1122 reached the site following the accident. The deceased’s body and injured were moved to DHG Hospital in Sahiwal where medical professional provided aid to the wounded.
On Sunday, two men were killed in a road accident in Sundar area of the Lahore.
Police said Abdul Razzaq and Nasir Khan were travelling on a motorcycle when a speedy dumper hit them. The victims fell down, suffered injuries and were admitted to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced them dead on arrival. The driver of the dumper fled from the scene.
