New commissioner: Durrani assumes charge
Drects officials to work with honesty and dedication
ISLAMABAD:
Aftab Akbar Durrani, who was notified as the new chief commissioner for the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) on March 6, took charge of his office on Wednesday. Durrani is a BPS-20 officer in the Pakistan Administrative Service and was earlier posted in the Gilgit-Baltistan Council Secretariat.
Durrani received a briefing from ICT Deputy Commissioner Capt (retd) Mushtaq Ahmed and other officials on the working of ICT administration and police. He directed officials to work with honesty and dedication and solve the problems of people on priority basis. Later, he visited offices of ICT Administration and spoke to officials.
